Welcome to our website, I hope it gives you a flavour of our school and the exciting things that happen here. I am proud to be the Headteacher of this fantastic school and feel extremely lucky to work alongside such a dedicated and committed team of staff and governors and with such wonderful children! Our vibrant curriculum and excellent teaching ensures that our children reach high academic standards and step out confidently into the world, well-equipped for the next stage in their school life.
Do come along and see our lovely school in action, we look forward to meeting you!
First week of summer holidays is over. What have your little ones been up to?
"Oh the places we could go." BOOKS.
We hope that you have all had a great start to the Holidays. The 3 Rs of Summer: Read Relax Renew As you will appreciate, reading during the summer holidays is still very important but we also want it to be FUN. Mischief Makers, the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge, combines FREE access to books with fun, creative activities in local libraries during the summer holidays. We want you to read or have help reading 6 library books over the summer holidays. Along the way, there are stickers and a bookmark to collect plus a certificate and a medal for completing the challenge. As if that weren't enough, there will be a special reading assembly when we get back to school in September for all children to bring in their medals and celebrate their reading success! We hope you all have great fun choosing and reading your books for the challenge!
The staff would like to say thank you so much to parents for all the lovely gifts and cards we've received, it's been an emotional day and hard to say good bye to the special people who are leaving us but bon voyage and keep in touch!
It's an emotional last day of school. We will be saying goodbye to our brilliant Zebras and Giraffes. Don't forget their leavers' assembly at 9:15. Tissues at the ready. We are also saying goodbye to Mrs Nicky Leath. We're sure all the parents will be joining us in wishing her all the very best in her new ventures. And finally we say goodbye to our school chair of governors, Mr David Gundry who is also relocating. You will be sadly missed.
