The governors are a team of people made up from parents, staff, from the community and the local authority who come together to form the Governing Board. The Governing Board help to shape the vision, values and ethos of the school and have three main roles to play: to provide strategic direction, to ensure accountability and to act as a critical friend. They meet every half-term, either as a whole group or in two sub-committees that deal with Finance and Personnel and Curriculum and Environment. All governors are members of all committees.
